Requesting a continuation of a story isn't necessarily the most wonderful way to respond to a fic.

Having seen this discussion at emmagrant01's on how someone said that one word in a fic spoiled her entire enjoyment of it (the word in question was "gotten"), I'm going to go off on a slight tangent and say a few things about Brit-picking.

( I think that excessive and paranoid Brit-picking is silly. )

( Plain and simple, plagiarism is theft. )
